In the north east of Tasmania stands a proud dolerite peak, Ben Lomond. With its ski-field at the summit it is already an adventure playground however the road to the summit is what gets mountain bikers excited. The road, known as Jacob's Ladder, descends over 1000m from the 1450 m summit, switch backs, hairpin bends, gravel roads and even some single track ensure this is a big day out on the bike. Mountain bikes, helmets safety gear and vehicle support ensure all you need to bring is an appetite for adventure.
