Our guides were friendly, efficient, knowable and caring. As the only US participants, we were treated to many personal perspectives from our Tasmanian guides and Australian fellow campers/hikers. Some of our hikes were more challenging than expected but we could have opted out. Options were provided.

Overland Track Self Guided Walk

My daughter and I just completed the self guided Overland track and it was truly amazing. It was so well organised! All we needed to do is hop off the plane, collect all our gear (including amazing food!) from the Tasmanian Expeditions office and we were set! The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Such an amazing adventure, definitely recommend and will use them for further trips.

Jordie and Sam really made this trip remarkable. Experiencing the wilderness that is the Franklin is made that much more amazing by people genuinely passionate about sharing it with you. The guys were professional, deeply knowledgeable, frequently hilarious, and great cooks! I'll be back for sure - hopefully to experience the river in another one of its 'moods'.
